Don't feel bad, Scott. When Randy started telling me the joke, I had to stop him and say, "Woah, woah, woah, I have no idea what you're talking about. What do you mean a 'differentiation operator'?" Then when he got to the punch line I just looked at him like, "What? That's the end?" and had the classic blank stare on my face. :-)
I saw that one coming.
