'Top Men' Found to Be Ethiopian

This is one of the most amazing and interesting things I've read in my entire life. If this is true, I am so psyched about the implications. Anna says, "I feel like if it's found Christ will return... I hope that none of them touch it, because God might strike them dead."

My brother Todd told me long, long ago that the Ark was kept by the Ethiopian Christians and sure enough, he was right (possibly). Ethiopia is one of the oldest Christian nations on the planet, the last African hold over from the rise of Islam waaaay back in the 700's.

Can you even imagine the implications if this is true? If so, imagine them with your fingers and type them in the comments section.

  1. Hmmm... seems like a PR stunt to me - but then I'm from America. I really don't know what to think of this.

Not sure how much I should comment right now given the current thunderstorm, but I'll just say that my gut feeling is that the power and significance of the Ark changed when the temple curtain was torn in half. That is, that God no longer contained his presence to the Holy of Holies. But far be it from me to say that I know this is true for sure. I don't really understand the Ark all that well, other than it is the container for the tablets with the law on them, and it vaporizes people in goofy ways in Indiana Jones movies.

P.S. Why won't this comment field let me use the arrow keys or the Home or End keys? That's annyoing.

  2. Hmmmm... now the Home and End and arrow keys work again. Weird.

  3. I agree with Randy's first thoughts. I do believe that the Ark lost the weight of its significance when the Shekinah (God’s Glory) stopped hovering over it, and the curtain was torn. I do think that it will be smashing in the face of Biblical naysayers, if they can some how verify that it’s authentic. Also the items contained therein will be awesome to see. It’s like a time machine dating back to Moses. I’m very excited and cannot wait for it to be true!
